Procedures:
Breast Augmentation: is a rpocedure performed to enlarge a woman’s breasts. Several techniques and styles of implants are offered. This procedure may be performed over or under pectoralis muscle, with round or teardrop saline filled implants.
Breast Reduction: is generally performed to alleviate the physical discomfort from large heavy breasts, which restricts a patient’s activities and may cause neck, back and shoulder pain and skin rashes. The surgery may take 3-5 hours and 2 weeks of recovery. Breast tissue and skin are removed usually reducing the breast size by 3 or more cup sizes. Breast reduction may be covered by insurance. Smoking should be stopped, as it may increase the risk of complications and delay healing.
TUBA: Dr. Sudarsky performs TUBA (Trans Umbilical Breast Augmentation) technique, that provides insertion of breast implants through the belly button. Advantages of TUBA include faster recovery, very little tissue trauma, less risk of injury to the sensory nerves of the nipple and breast. As with all cosmetic surgeries, the technique and procedure of choice is recommended by the surgeon and discussed with the patient after a thorough physical examination.
Breast Reconstruction: Is a procedure following surgery for the removal of a breast (mastectomy) due to cancer or other disease. Often reconstruction is done immediately following breast removal, allowing the patient to wake up with the breast in place. There are several options to consider in breast reconstruction, involving the use of the body’s own tissue (a TRAM or Latissimus flap) or the use of saline filled implants. Many factors influence the choice you and your physicians will make for reconstruction: the type and stage of your disease, your general health and age, cancer treatment plans, and life style. Breast reconstruction is a positive step you can take toward regaining your healthy self image. Our staff is sensitive to your concerns.
Tummy Tuck: Abdominoplasty, also nown as “tummy tuck”, is performed to remove excess skin and fat from abdomen and to tighten the muscles of the abdomen wall.. The procedure can reduce the appearance of protrding, hanging abdomen. Candidates for abdominoplasty are people who are in relatively good shape but are bothered by a large fat deposit or loose abdominal skin that won’t respond to diet ans excercise, like wonmen after pregnancy, who have stretched their abdominal muscles and skin beyond the point where they can return to normal. Hanging skin after weight loss, and loose skin from aging can also be corrected.
Liposuction: is a body contouring procedure which removes unwanted fat. It is recommended for the removal of excess pockets of fat n areas that have not responded well to weight reduction or exercise. Dr. Sudarsky offers two techniques – traditional suction-assisted liposuction (SAL) and ultrasonic assisted liposuction (UAL).
Eyelift: eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) is a procedure to remove protruding fat, excess skin and muscle from the upper and and lower eyelids. Eyelid surgery can correct drooping upper lids and puffy bgs below your eyes – features that make you lookolder and more tired than you feel, and may even interfere with your vision.
Face/Neck Lift: is a cosmetic procedure done to rejuvenate a persons face. The surgery takes approximately 3-5 hours and can be performed in the office operating room in a hospital. The recovery is about 2 weeks. Smoking should be stopped, as it may increase the risk of complications and delay healing.
