About Dr. Sewell

Originally from Tennessee, Dr. Nathan Sewell received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Columbia University in New York City.  He returned to Nashville where he obtained his MD at Vanderbilt University.  He received his general and plastic surgery training at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. 

 

Dr. Sewell recently moved with his wife Leigh to the Bay Area to join Blackhawk Plastic Surgery, a renowned Bay Area cosmetic surgery practice with a stunning new office in Danville.  Dr. Sewell operates at the newly opened and fully accredited Blackhawk Surgery Center in Danville, where anaesthesia is provided by a board-certified anaesthesiologist.

 

Dr. Sewell specializes in all areas of aesthetic surgery including breast augmentation, reduction, and lift; body contouring procedures including liposuction, abdominoplasty, body lift, and post massive weight loss surgery; facial rejuvenation including short-scar facelift, browlift and blepharoplasty; rhinoplasty, and otoplasty.  Other areas of interest include laser skin rejuvenation, hair removal, and vein treatment, skin-care, and anti-aging medicine.

 

 Dr. Sewell is also the Chief Plastic Surgeon at San Joaquin Regional Hospital, where he performs complex reconstructive operations and teaches the art and science of plastic surgery to residents. 

 

In his free time, Dr. Sewell explores the artistic, outdoor, and edible offerings of the San Francisco Bay area with his new wife Leigh.
